My name is Jeff Bures and I live in Salem, Oregon. Salem is part of the Willamette Valley, the flats between the coast range and Cascade Mountains. The weather here is very temperate, allowing outdoor activities almost all year around (if you don’t mind some rain). Summer is the hidden gem of the Valley, when temperatures are usually in the high 80s with low humidity and daily sun. Winter is dreary and bleak, with frequent rain, but rarely does it freeze or snow.
I enjoy traveling with my family, scuba diving, practical shooting sports, and snow skiing. I’m currently a ‘B-Class’ competitor in USPSA, but hope to make ‘A-Class’ after the Nationals, and someday will make ‘Master’ class.
